As part of our Under The Sea display we decided to make a jellyfish. I wanted us to be able to make something 3D but I wasn’t sure what to use until I found an old plastic tub in the cupboard which was the perfect size.
I helped my son rip up different shades of green tissue paper (his favourite colour so there tends to be a lot of green crafts!) he then set about sticking it all over the plastic tub.
We used long strips of tissue paper for the tentacles and he stuck green wobbly eyes on. Once we had finished the jellyfish doubled up as a fun sensory toy for one of the twins and my little boy dangled the tissue paper tentacles on his head until he grabbed one of them a ripped it off, that was the end of the sensory play!
