Under the sea is a theme that has some great craft opportunities for toddlers and young children. We spent just over a month making everything from a lobster to a starfish and created a colourful display, adding our creations to it every time we finished something new. As well as enjoying making the various sea themed animals this was also a good way to teach my son about the ocean and the animals that live there. We visited the aquarium, read sea themed books like Julia Donaldsons Sharing A Shell and because it was summer we went rock pooling on holiday.
